ISCAS Institute of Solid State and Materials Science
The Association has set up ISCAS Institute of Solid State and Materials Science at the Jammu University Campus, Jammu, with facilities for research in solid state chemistry and materials science. The facilities include synthesis of solid state materials by various techniques, powder X-ray diffractometry, study of electric transport properties in the cryogenic temperature, investigation of radioactivity in materials etc. This national level Institute is open to academia/research workers from all over the country.
Besides the research activities, the Institute provides opportunity of interaction amongst the practitioners of solid state chemistry and allied areas at the national level through seminars/ symposia/ conferences/ workshops.
